Career Assistance

This is the bottom line of the WR&D Initiative: Graduates need jobs! We provide a means to advertise and search for jobs via the Rubber Division Career Center, which is the only job site specifically targeting the rubber industry since 2003.

The Career Center is free to students and others wishing to post resumes and/or search for jobs. It also allows companies to post jobs and/or search resumes. The Division is working to expand this service to also offer information on job searching, writing resumes and interviewing.

In addition to the Career Center, the Division hosts the ACS Career Workshop during our fall meetings. This workshop includes an expert who speaks on job searches, resume writing and interviewing, and includes career publications and time to have your resume reviewed by the speaker.

The ACS also hosts ChemJobs.org External Site Link for the chemical industry. This is a much broader job site that reaches out to each profession in the chemical disciplines. ACS also hosts extensive career fairs, training and job interviews during their annual meetings External Site Link.
