The Rubber Division ACS held our 3rd Rubber-Modified Asphalt Conference immediately following the Division's 171st Technical Meeting. The conference is co-hosted by Rubber Division ACS, Rubber Pavements Association and Rubber Manufacturers Association in conjunction with the National Asphalt Pavement Association, Asphalt Institute, National Center for Asphalt Technology, Flexible Pavements of Ohio, Rubber Recycling Topical Group, Federal Highway Administration and the Regional Environmental Protection Agency.

Attendees are provided with a forum in which to learn about the uses of rubber- and polymer-modified asphalt, facilitate discussions between industries and government agencies, gain knowledge between industries on materials and specifications and open opportunities to expand the use of rubber- and polymer-modified asphalt.

William Haverland, Manager Asphalt Sales & Marketing, Conoco Phillips Company, is the keynote speaker and opens the two-day conference with his presentation on "Asphalt-Petroleum Supply".

Companies and individuals alike have the opportunity to exhibit or visit the tabletop exhibits during the evening reception on Thursday, May 3, 2007. The reception is immediately following the conclusion of the day's presentations.
