Educational Opportunities

The Rubber Division ACS offers Online Courses on a continual basis, Onsite Seminars at our Technical Meetings and Rubber Expos, and maintains a growing list of opportunities available through our parent organization, subdivisions and other institutions.

Library Services

The Rubber Division Library and Information Services is run by Mr. Chris Laursen, Science & Technology Librarian, and is located inside the Science and Technology Library at The University of Akron in Akron, Ohio. Its resources include the books, periodicals, symposia, online databases supplemented by Rubber Division special collections and the following:

1. Extensive information on rubber science, technology and business/economics, as well as general science and technology
2. Books, journals, government documents and symposia proceedings are included
3. Complete collection of Division meeting papers from 1925 through the present as well as other Division publications
4. Supplemented by the archives from several major companies located in The University of Akron Archives, and by the Paul J. Flory collection of research papers
